Feb. 2014 Constructed combined storage/watchman structure and a water basin. Hired a watchman.

Jan. 2011 Established a local partner group in Burkina Faso
Sept. 2011 Received $330,000 U.S. State Department Youth Leadership Program (YLP) Grant with Francophone Africa in part-nership with SUNY Plattsburgh
Oct. 2011 Held first black light Zumbathon fundraiser generating over $1000 with active support from SUNY Plattsburgh students
Fall 2011 Completed first membership drive. Received donations from Arizona, California, Colorado, Delaware, Georgia, New York, Vermont, West Virginia and Wisconsin
Jan. 2012 Secured land outside of Ouagadougou for first school; two other possible sites identified in Burkina Faso

March 2012 Facilitated first Youth Leadership Program session held with 24 high school students and 6 adult educators from Burkina Faso, Chad, and Niger
